This comfortable hilltop house, with its lush tropical garden and huge old trees, is frequented by birds and small game. It has a panoramic view of the Indian Ocean, and down in the valley below, the Ku-Boboyi River flows seawards.
Watch dolphins, whales and the sardine run in the vast blue distance from the cool verandah at the pool, or spend starlit evenings revelling in the sea breeze. Open your arms and yell star praises. The neighbours won’t mind, they’re too far away to hear.
Experience local culture, eat a Xhosa lunch, consult a sangoma, visit a local school or shebeen. The restaurant offers mouth-watering á la carte and gourmet meals every night, so don’t bother shopping.
