Africa is a wild continent and Southern Africa has fought hard to save her wildlife. A multitude of game parks pepper the area ranging from the impossibly exclusive to the downright affordable. High up on the plateau with spectacular views, they are within easy reach of Livingstonia and Manchewe Falls.
Awesome is an overused word, but feel free to use it to describe the views of Lake Malawi 650m below this cliff-top lodge set in the middle of a forest. They don’t actually farm anything here, although chef Mick admits that most of what he cooks is home-grown. Whatever, we suggest you eat after trying his massive, free-falling rope swing, rap jumping or abseiling off the edge of the Manchewe Falls.
