We suggest you take Route 62 and discover a land scattered with farmhouses and small villages forgotten by time, fine wines, delicious conserves, hot springs and hikes which lead through fynbos and rugged kloofs. Sheep graze happily on the spiky bushes (and Karoo lamb is something every unrepentant meat eater should try).
