The Baz Bus backpacker bus is a hop-on’ hop-off backpackers bus that has a variety of routes around South Africa. It’s an easy way to get from A to B and a fun way to meet other travellers.

This backpackers has recently been renovated. It's a snazzy spot with great communal spaces, welcoming surfers and holidaymakers alike.
From Cape Town on N2: Take Jeffrey's Bay turn off. Pass Caltex, turn left into Reygers. At lights turn left into Da Gama Street (the main road). See the Spar and Engen on left, Pepper Street and the Supertubes car park is next right. Aloe Again is first on left.
From PE on N2: Take R102 to Jeffreys Bay. Turn left into Da Gama Road, 3.4km. Left into Pepper Street.
Even surfers need to crash sometimes, so why not pick a spot that’s a mere wave roll from famous Supertubes? Any closer and you’ll be sleeping on your board on the beach (not that lekker, dude).
Here you’ll find rooms, designed with comfort in mind. Watch DSTV from bed or join your chinas in the lounge for a game of pool and an indoor braai.
Prone to cabin fever? Chill outside in the yard, stargaze, listen to waves and tuck into a superbraai. There’s also a verandah for epic dolphin watching.
The boardwalk takes you straight down to Supertubes for dawn patrol. Or stroll down to a bench with a mug of coffee and check the early action. If the waves are lame (unlikely!), pop in to the adventure centre next door, or cruise along main road to the awesome famous-surf-brand factory shops. Just remember to ask the amazing folks at Aloe about discount cards for the shops at the Surf Village.
