Africa is a wild continent and Southern Africa has fought hard to save her wildlife. A multitude of game parks pepper the area ranging from the impossibly exclusive to the downright affordable. A great backpackers at Kosi Bay
Located in the Kosi Bay Nature Reserve, Thobeka lies within walking distance of the lakes. Shady trees surround the lodge and a web of wooden walkways connect the rustic African rooms to each other, to the bar with its swimming pool and to the kitchen. Sling yourself into a hammock and contemplate the thought of
snorkelling, spear fishing, hiking, game viewing in the Tembe Reserve, popping off to Mozambique, visiting
the Raffia Palm Forest, turtle spotting in season and boat safaris amongst hippos, or just
enjoy a snooze in the sun.
